Ventilation Parts and Accessories

KCVENTS ventilation parts and accessories include grilles, louvres, duct reducers, pre-embedded vents and external terminals. Match the actual duct diameter, airflow direction, installation surface, material, weather exposure and fixing detail before ordering.

Ventilation accessories are selected from the duct size, airflow direction, installation surface and exposure condition. Confirm the connection diameter and transition geometry first, then check material, louvre adjustment, insect protection, weather exposure, fixing method and access for cleaning. An accessory does not establish the fan duty point by itself.

Quick answer

Use a reducer when two duct diameters must connect, an adjustable grille when the outlet direction needs tuning, and an external stainless terminal where weather and corrosion exposure matter. Pre-embedded and soffit vents are installation-specific choices for clean integration into walls, ceilings or soffits.

Duct transition

The Air Duct Reducer page lists 6-to-4 inch and 8-to-6 inch transitions for common duct changes.

Adjustable outlet

The adjustable ABS louver cover page lists 4, 6 and 8 inch options with a rotating louver face.

External terminal

The 304 stainless vent page lists multiple sizes and integrated anti-insect mesh for outdoor wall use.

Representative accessory paths

Check dimensions and material on the live product page before ordering.

ABS Pre-Embedded Air Vents Describes spring-clip installation and ceiling integration for supply or exhaust systems. What ceiling opening and fixing detail are available?
Air Duct Reducer Lists 6-to-4 inch and 8-to-6 inch duct transitions. Are both mating ducts measured by the same inside-diameter standard?
304 Stainless Vent Lists mirror or brushed finishes, multiple sizes and anti-insect mesh. What external exposure, terminal size and finish are required?

Specification basis: the linked pages provide the current size and material notes. Confirm actual inside dimensions, flange or fixing detail, sealing, pressure loss, weather protection and the latest drawing before production or installation.

"Ventilation is the process of supplying air to or removing it from a space by natural or mechanical means for purposes that include control of air contaminant levels."

The revised EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive entered into force on 28 May 2024, with a deadline for national transposition by 29 May 2026. This is a building-efficiency regulation background; it does not by itself require specific ventilation accessories, and the applicable codes differ by market. See the European Commission source.

Ventilation accessory questions

Use these checks before adding accessories to a product quotation.

Will a reducer change the fan performance?

It can. A reducer adds a transition loss and may change turbulence and noise. Include the transition in the pressure-loss estimate and confirm the final duty point.

What is the difference between a grille and an external terminal?

A grille usually finishes an indoor supply or exhaust opening. An external terminal is exposed to weather and often needs rain, insect and corrosion considerations.

How should accessory sizes be checked?

Measure the actual duct or wall opening and compare it with the product drawing. Nominal inch sizes do not guarantee identical inside dimensions across suppliers.

What should an accessory RFQ include?

Include duct diameter, airflow direction, installation surface, material, finish, weather or insect requirement, fixing detail, quantity and target market.

Need a model recommendation?

Send the application, required airflow, wall construction, target market, voltage or plug requirement, certification needs and estimated quantity.

KCVENTS can then confirm the suitable model variant, available controls and the documentation required for your project.
